The subject of this postgraduate study is the examination of digital advertising, in relation to the issues of violation of Internet users’ personal data. More specifically, in the framework of this postgraduate study, a theoretical approach to digital advertising will be attempted through the presentation of basic concepts, function, basic types and media, as well as the techniques and special advertising tools used in the context of digital advertising, while the master thesis will focus on the protection of personal data in digital advertising, as well as the examination of specific issues of digital advertising, such as Cookies as Behavioral Advertising targeting and tracking tools, Social Media Advertising and Real Time Bidding (RTB).
