This dissertation studies the forecast time series with time series techniques and methods using the statistical tool R, in order to implement the varius forecasting models in logistics.
Based on the above, initially studied the basic concepts concerning the process of forecasting and the importance nowadays.
Moreover studied different forecasting methods depending on the number and quality of available data with specific examples.
While special attention is given to the most important method of forecasting is the analysis of time series with the help of statistical tool R. Analysed and fully presented all time series analysis model ,as well as the results of their application to real examples. In addition we have graphical representation of the results and control forecasting errors.
