This dissertation focuses on the design and development of a weather application for the Android mobile operating system, with data from the Hellenic National Meteorological Service.
Despite the vast amount of weather applications either in various android markets or pre-installed in android devices, there is no application that uses data from the Hellenic National Meteorological Service. The application that was developed in this dissertation aims to address this.
