The increasing development and modernization of health services (advances in technology, increased material and human resources) gradually shifted the attention of scholars on the sufficiency (quantity) of health services to the research of the quality assurance of health services. In parallel, the advanced access to health information and knowledge by the users/consumers of health services results to increased demand and higher expectations on the quality of health services provided to them. In this context, the present study focused on evaluating and identifying incentives for the motivation of human resources in maternity - gynecological clinics. The results showed the importance of providing incentives to health workers and more specifically, the provision of opportunities for development and promotion, objective appraisal for the efficiency of the staff and the development of good relation and communication among workers, departments and the entire organization.
