On the present thesis we focus on the development of an educational software, which addresses to the students of the 3rd grade of high school, for the lesson: principles of Economic Theory, which is a prerequisite for the admittance in the Economic and Financial departments of the Greek Universities.
The software focuses in the terms of collaboration and adaptivity, as the members of each group can talk to each other and discuss about each exercise separately, but also the teacher can create or customize the teaching material and share with his/her students.
The thesis has the following structure:
On the first chapter a review of the field of educational software is being attempted, with a brief overview of its main types.
The second chapter, following the RUP methodology, refers to the first phase of commencing the development of the software
The third chapter focuses on the elaboration of the study, deploying a thorough modeling with the use of UML diagrams
Finally, the implementation of the program is being described in the fourth chapter, with screenshots and comments for some specific parts of code
