Human Resource Management has long been an essential department within the majority of companies. However, in recent years, the need for a more structured and strategically organized HR function has become increasingly evident. The rapid changes in employees’ needs, values, and daily routines, as well as the evolving business environment, compel companies of all sizes to adapt to new trends and adopt modern management practices in order to remain competitive.
Within this context, the purpose of the present study is to examine the extent to which talent management influences the performance of food industry enterprises. The aim is to clarify how strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining talented employees contribute to improving operational efficiency, enhancing competitiveness, and ultimately supporting the success of businesses within the food sector.
To achieve this, the study first presents and analyzes key concepts such as “talent,” “talent management,” “competitive advantage,” and other related terms that form the theoretical foundation of the research. Subsequently, it explores contemporary practices and innovations in talent management, as well as the ways in which these practices are applied within the food industry, affecting the effectiveness and long-term sustainability of the companies operating in this field.
