This thesis presents the design, development, and evaluation of a digital course titled "Use of Basic Artificial Intelligence Tools for Instructional and Organizational Purposes," which is addressed to secondary education teachers. Emphasis is given to the practical training of educators regarding the utilization of artificial intelligence tools both in teaching practice and school organization.
The theoretical framework is presented, and reference is made to the existing gap concerning teacher training on artificial intelligence issues. Simultaneously, the existing educational offerings of digital courses are examined, highlighting the need for the development of short and practical programs with clearly defined objectives.
The methodology followed for the course design is presented, the learning outcomes are defined based on international pedagogical frameworks, as well as the multimodal approach using modern digital tools. Furthermore, the technical implementation of the learning experience is presented through the use of digital environments such as Google Classroom, including examples and indicative screens from the platform.
Reference is made to the course evaluation process, where the results, positive observations, and areas needing improvement are recorded, focusing especially on the connection between artificial intelligence tools and pedagogical principles. Finally, the main conclusions of the study and proposals for the future enhancement and upgrading of the digital course are presented.
The contribution of the study lies in addressing a significant educational gap, as it offers educators a flexible and practical training tool that responds to contemporary pedagogical and technological requirements.
