This master’s thesis addresses the development of an integrated educational software
system for teaching the Geography of Greece, aiming to enhance the learning process of
primary and secondary school students, as well as adults. The application incorporates
multimodal content (text, audiobook, and video), interactive exercises, maps, and an
evaluation mechanism through quizzes. A key innovation lies in the use of Fuzzy Logic to
adapt the level of difficulty and classify learners according to their performance. In this
way, the system provides a personalized learning experience that aligns with
contemporary pedagogical approaches and strengthens the effectiveness of instruction.
Furthermore, the thesis presents a literature review on the application of Fuzzy Logic in
education and analyzes its contribution to the development of adaptive educational
systems. The study highlights the importance of integrating innovative technologies into
the teaching of Geography and proposes future extensions related to intelligent adaptive
learning environments and emotion recognition techniques.
