This thesis deals with the issue of Crisis Management in the School Community. Within the framework of the diploma work, the implementation of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is utilized for the development of the above topic, highlighting a new attractive educational proposal. First, an indicative overview of the field regarding the contribution of MOOCs to School Crisis Management at national and global level is made, creating a comparison between them and taking into account important factors. Following, you can delve into the design of the MOOC. More specifically, the learning outcomes which concern the distinction of crisis situations based on their stages and characteristics are analyzed as well as Crisis management at School and in particular at the level of students, parents and teachers. At this stage, all the presentation, demonstration, practice and evaluation activities that will be completed by the trainees are analyzed, as well as general elements and information about the implementation of the course and the prerequisites for its completion. Next, the implementation of the MOOC is presented through the Edunext tool, showing the stages of course implementation at each level. In conclusion, self-evaluation of course is carried out and personal conclusions and suggestions for future improvement regarding Crisis Management in the School Community with the use of Massive Open Online Courses are listed. In conclusion, it is obvious that the crises present in the School Community are extensive and multifaceted, making the need for continuous training imperative. Dissemination of information among teachers and anyone involved in the School community is also essential in order to achieve immediate and effective management.
