The world of aviation has always been a testament to mankind's ingenuity and technological progress. In
the rich history of aviation history, Greek aircraft have played an important role, reflecting the country's
progress in aerospace engineering and its contribution to global aviation. As we embark on this journey
through time and innovation, we present a state-of-the-art Android app designed to provide aviation
enthusiasts, historians and the curious with an informational experience about historic Air Force aircraft.
Aviation enthusiasts have long sought ways to delve into the fascinating history of warplanes,
exploring their design, development and contributions to both military and civil aviation. With the
advancements in technology, we recognize the need to bring this historical treasure into the palm of the
user's hand. The deliverable of this thesis is the implementation of an application for mobile devices
through which users will learn about the history and operational use of military aircraft and will be
informed about their technical specifications.
The Android app is designed as a user-friendly, feature-rich mobile application, meticulously
crafted to provide a comprehensive platform for exploring the history of warplanes. It is an educational
application having gathered the information and placed it organized and functionally structured in the
Android project. The data, texts and photos, have been retrieved from the official website of the Greek Air
Force (haf.gr) on the historical aircraft page and added to a cloud database.
