This study examines the impact of workplace politics on the emergence of a model of behav-ioral leadership. The study collected 203 responses from public sector employees through a questionnaire. The respondents were asked about their current work situation, the leadership style of their supervisors, and whether they engage in office politics. The analysis of the re-sponses revealed a strong negative correlation between behavioral leadership and office poli-tics. The study also found that the presence of behavioral leadership is associated with positive office politics, which in turn contributes to better team performance. These findings suggest that organizations should focus on fostering behavioral leadership to mitigate the negative effects of workplace politics and promote a more positive and productive work environment.
