This thesis examines the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on economic growth in Greece through a theoretical approach. The study focuses on understanding the relationship between FDI and economic growth, with special emphasis on the role of gross domestic product (GDP) as an indicator of economic growth
The literature review examines theoretical frameworks and models that explain the relationship between FDI and economic growth, and emphasizes the importance of GDP as a key indicator of economic growth. The chosen theoretical framework provides a basis for understanding the mechanisms affecting economic growth in Greece. The research methodology includes a critical review of academic papers, reports and relevant statistical data to analyze theoretical content and assess its applicability to the Greek context.
By examining specific examples of FDI in Greece, the study investigates the relationship between FDI inflows, GDP and economic growth. It examines the theoretical content of the chosen framework and how these factors interact to shape economic outcomes in Greece. The findings of the study contribute to the existing theoretical literature by providing an analysis of the role of GDP as an important determinant of economic growth in Greece.
Overall, this dissertation provides a comprehensive theoretical assessment of the impact of FDI on the economic growth of Greece, with a particular focus on selecting GDP as the key index of economic growth. The research findings contribute to the understanding of the economic dynamics that operate in Greece and offer valuable insights for policymakers and researchers seeking to enhance economic growth through FDI.
