The present research was conducted in order to study the relationships between Toxic Leadership, Neuroticism and Neuroses in the workplace. Specifically, it studies the way in which neuroticism, as a factor of personality, and neuroses, as emotional and mental disorders, affect the behavior of the toxic leader in the workplace. For this purpose, a quantitative survey was conducted using a questionnaire, which was distributed electronically to Greek employees, both in the public and private sector. Study participants (222 in total) were asked to answer questions with regards to the characteristics and demeanor of their boss / employer (current or past). Quantitative processing of the data showed that Neuroticism affects Toxic Leadership in a positive way, in contrast to Neuroses which are not statistically related to the main dependent variable of the study.
