During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic period, the working model of teleworking was adopted by many companies worldwide. Businesses and employees have had to adapt to a new reality. After the end of the pandemic, workplaces’ conditions are not predicted to be the same as before, with the current situation being a preparation for a new future work model. The present research examines the relationship between teleworking and stress of employees, the available time for physical activity and the impact of physical activity on their psychology and work performance. The aim of this research is to highlight the need for the creation of a modern working model for Greece that will serve the needs of businesses and their employees in a better way. More specifically, a working model is proposed, which can be modified in various ways during its adoption by companies, and attempts to increase the work performance of employees, considering their needs for physical activity. It also presents various conditions of teleworking that increase the work stress of employees and to what extent, as well as practices that can be followed by the employees and companies to enhance their performance. The chosen methodology for the conduct of this survey is the collection and evaluation of the questionnaire’s results, which was distributed to up to 200 employees who worked in companies based in Attica during the pandemic. The results elicited show a significant statistically positive correlation between work-related stress and teleworking and a significant negative correlation between work-related stress and physical activity. Finally, limitations of the study are mentioned, guidelines for future research and methods of practice of conclusions are proposed.
