The present work is an analysis of the financial statements of the companies in the real estate management sector Alpha Urban Real Estate, Briq Properties, Intercontinental International AEEAP, LAMDA Development A.E., PASAL DEVELOPMENT S.A., Prodea Investments (former national Pangea), R.E.D.S. and TRASTOR AEEAP in the three years 2017 to 2019. In order to achieve the objective, the financial situation of the aforementioned period is accurately recorded, as tools such as economic analysis and industry analysis are used to detect the macroeconomic and microeconomic environment.
Regarding the analysis of the economy by relevant research for the period 2017 to 2019, in the nine months Jan-Sep 2017 we have accelerated global growth by 3.3% where this favorable course will continue for the next two years with its peak in 2019. Next year seems to be the first in a decade where she can focus on the challenges of the future rather than the problems of the past. Greek GDP, greatly influenced by fiscal developments and the international economic environment, showed an upward trend during the period under review. Domestic demand was the one that starred in the growth rate of the Greek economy.
The real estate investment sector is one of the most important growth factors in the country for at least the last 20 years. The real estate market is volatile and fluctuates strongly influenced by monetary policy. The services provided by the industry are constantly improving at a dramatic rate due to the growing demand mainly from foreign investors in East Asia.
For the examined companies we could say that there is an increase in turnover with 2019 reaching their peak, as well as their sales. Long-term lending is the main source of financing for most of our listed companies, as shown in the working capital table.
