The purpose of this thesis is to provide the reader with the tools necessary for
understanding the techniques used in order to effectively promote sales. This is
equally achieved through the study of the Hainas Bros. EE company; a company that
has achieved great success in the field of vinegar, mainly by improving its sales
processes and techniques.
The first chapter examines the retail trade outside of Greece, as well as its
managing processes, from the company’s warehouse to its employees. The next
chapter highlights the business’s need to understand both the importance of the
customer as well as the competitor. The chapter that follows is dedicated to the the
recognition of the retail trade what its types are, the identification of the
characteristics that fall in each category and their role in the market. Finally, the case
study; is referred How can we apply all that was mentioned in the previous chapters to
an actual business in the real world.
