The aim of this work is to highlight the development potential of mobile commerce in tourism. Initially, the relationship between tourism and growth is analyzed, as well as the impact of tourism on tourism development, while the current state of tourism in Greece is also presented. By continuing, particular emphasis is placed on the concept of business competitiveness, which is a priority for all businesses in the world. However, in order for a company to be competitive, it must also have long-term viability. Customer satisfaction is the most important factor for service companies as it relates to the viability of the business and, by extension, to its competitive advantage and market share growth while analyzing the definitions and basic theories of customer satisfaction as well as the various models that have been created to analyze it. Finally, we analyze the basic principles and the usefulness of mobile commerce as well as its use in the tourism sector, as well as the potential of mobile commerce development in the tourism sector in Greece.
