This diploma thesis attempts to capture the contemporary business environment of banking organizations and to highlight the importance of some variables for quality service delivery, sustainability and future development. A bibliographic review of the conceptual approach of human resources, digitization and lean management, which are being researched in this paper, is performed as those factors that improve the quality of banking services, provided competitive with significant future growth. Through the development of lean and digitization approaches in the real banking environment, it is attempted to highlight the degree of correlation of the literature with the case study. It is concluded that in the modern business environment, it is imperative for banks' administrations to develop policies, related to the development of human resources and adopting actions that will lead to digital transformation and lean management policies.
