The study examines the rational - functional design of supply chain warehouses with
particular emphasis on picking and loading. The central warehouse of the Athenian
Brewery in Kifissos is used to analyze the issue as an example of study. Given the study
paradigm that is being considered the work focuses on the design of a beverage
warehouse, in particular beer, for distribution within Attica, with emphasis on
optimizing the picking process. The work compares productivity indicators of business
processes for the warehouse of Athenian Brewery.
