The present work attempts to present innovation as a concept and as a choice of transport companies in order to turn the advantages that characterize them into competitive advantages. In particular, the first chapter sets out the definition of innovation from the perspective of various theoretical and innovation discourses; in the second chapter are presented the strategies followed by the enterprises in order to achieve the competitive advantage, the third chapter analyzes some examples of innovations by transport sector and in particular in road, air and sea transport. Finally, the fourth chapter is devoted to the logistics industry, starting by its definition and its various forms in regard to the modern business world, and some examples of innovation in this field are presented.
