Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is the creation of web platform widely known as TAXISnet and specifically the creation of the E1 form which keeps a record of the tax payers’ revenues which were acquired within a specific period of time. This platform supports the «logging» of a potential user, the «registration» in case he/she hasn’t already registered or he/she is a new user, the «logout» in case he/she has concluded the submission of his/her tax return. Moreover, this platform enables each user who wishes to visit the system, to create a new tax return (insert) and to update it in case of error(s). Finally, all the results of the modifications are included in the final platform which appears on the screen (select). In addition, the amount of the tax payable to the state is calculated based on each tax payer’s assets as submitted in the form. This platform is quite interactive and user-friendly. HTML, CSS, PHP & MySQL web technologies have been used in order that the project could be constructed. XAMPP was used as well so that the application could be run and executed.
