This post-graduate dissertation describes a web application for the teaching of the English language to children and more specifically the tenses and the irregular verbs and focuses on the advisory tutelage.
The application is mainly designed as a utility tool for students of pre-teen to teen age groups and for English language teachers through gamification, the borrowing of game elements with the scope of students spending more time “playing” and thus learning as well as the unique and automatized counseling towards them. It also provides teachers with a tool of monitoring and reviewing each student’s progress while also authoring the content.
