Semantic Web and Open Linked Data are a current trend in the field of education and learning. Based
on this, a number of applications has been developed that use the technologies of the Semantic Web,
however a need is recognized to develop new applications that exploit all the capabilities offered by these
technologies. This thesis presents the development of an application that uses the Semantic Web and
Open Linked Data and provides the end user with a single access point to a variety of learning resources
associated exclusively with the Semantic Web, in order to enhance the educational process and to enrich
the user experience in this important area. In particular, for the implementation of this application
technologies of the Semantic Web (RDF, OWL, SPARQL) were used the as well as the PHP language of
the Web and disparate sources of open and linked data. For the presentation of this application, Drupal
was selected, a tool that supports and provides facilities for implementing Semantic Web applications.
Finally, it is necessary to mention that the methodology of the development of this application is an
innovative one, which can be adopted by anyone who is interested in this field of RTD and can form the
basis for developing new applications in different thematic areas.
