The evolution of mobile technology and the possibilities that it now offers, mainly due to the android operating system, have created a new ground for a series of applications that improve everyday life. The objective of this paper is to use the capabilities of modern mobile phones and with the help of various on-board sensors to arrive at useful conclusions about the user's activities. These findings will help both individually and collectively. Lastly, we use energy efficient sensors that help in the identification of five key user movement activities. The user of the application has the opportunity at the end of the day, to see quantitatively how active he has been during the day while having the possibility to see general statistics of the population grouped by either sex or age for each activity. We hope that this application will be stimulating to its users to improve their lifestyle.
