The purpose of this thesis is initially to present and analyze this modern technological application, named E-Commerce. To specify, in the first and introductory chapter, a detailed presentation of the theoretical framework of E-Commerce is carried out, including its characteristics, its applications and the categories by which it is separated according to particular criteria. Moreover, a lot of emphasis is given to the benefits of E-Commerce towards business and customers. Finally, there are presented the disadvantages and risks that the reckless use of E-Commerce and the improper implementation by businesses may hide.
