Abstract

Banking Sector is the dominant sector in the financial system of each country. Hence, the efficiency measurement of the banking system and the analysis of the factors affecting the efficiency is critical. A widespread method of assessing efficiency is Data Envelopment Analysis. The aim of this thesis is to review case studies using Data Envelopment Analysis in order to measure the efficiency in banking sector in different countries.
