dc.description.abstract	Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή εξετάζει τις αρχές λειτουργίας που διέπουν τα δίκτυα που επικοινωνούν με το πρωτόκολλο CAN. Αναλύει τον τρόπο επικοινωνίας μεταξύ των κόμβων και εξηγεί αρχιτεκτονικές δικτύων. Αναλύει μια μέθοδο επικοινωνίας του IP πάνω σε δίκτυο CAN καθώς και αξιολογεί κάποια απο τα γνωστά δίκτυα ελέγχου. Τέλος γίνεται αναφορά και στα κατανεμημένα συστήματα ελέγχου που χωρίς τα δίκτυα CAN δεν θα είχαν γνωρίσει την εξέλιξη που έχουν γνωρίσει μέχρι σήμερα.	el

Analyzes how communication is established between nodes and explains network architectures. Analyzes a method of IP communication over the CAN network and evaluate some of the known control networks. Finally there is a mention in distributed control systems, which without the CAN networks would not have experienced the development that they have experienced so far.	el
