Nowadays, in contrast with the past decades, most of the companies around the world use at least one Information System. Henceforth, one of the new upcoming needs concerning their IT departments is the integration between a new Information System with a legacy system (that is already running in the company) or with a Partner's Information System (in order to accelerate the procedures that take place between these two or more partners). This study examines the issue of integration between two or more Information Systems developed by different software houses. The main software category that is examined is the one of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (a category that holds a huge portion in software market). Web Services are used in order to make different ERP integrate with each other - the most efficient and reliable solution for such problems, which is also a worldwide standard.
