This diploma thesis examines the legal part of Service Level Agreements, which concerns the adoption of them in the new technological trend of Cloud Computing. In particular, the part that is examined concerns the adoption and implementation of Service Level Agreements between the vendor and the consumer in the case of services using Cloud Computing. At the beginning, reference is made to the basic definitions and concepts of Cloud Computing (based on NIST), followed by an analysis of the delivery and deployment models of Cloud Computing. At the next chapter of this diploma thesis follows the analysis of Service Level Agreements and Web Service Level Agreements, based in the definitions and ways of adoption of these contracts. At the third part, the application of Service Level Agreements at Cloud Computing Services is presented. The starting conclusions of the diploma thesis are presented, followed by an example of application of Service Level Agreements at a Public Cloud Service and a reference of the final conclusions. At the fourth part of the diploma thesis, a comprehensive study reflecting the extensive study of Kevin Buck, Diane Hanf MITRE Company Engineers (Cloud SLAs Considerations for the Government Consumer) is presented, followed by a comprehensive manual for the analysis and optimal application of Service Level Agreements in Cloud Computing. Also, a hypothetical scenario of Cloud SLA application and the final conclusions are presented. This thesis is completed with the implementation of a Service Level Agreement for a service included in a Cloud Computing and the modification of the related XML code, followed by the final conclusions of the diploma thesis of Oikonomopoulos Evangelos, that concern the adoption of SLAs in Cloud Computing.
