This study was conducted as part of the University of Piraeus "Advanced Information Systems" Master's Program. Its purpose was to investigate Internet-Based Information Systems and the factors that affect their viability in today's Greek market. In order to achieve this goal, a collaborative web application that offers the user information and services pertaining to all transportation in the Attica region was developed. A corresponding business plan was created, in order to determine this information system's viability in the Greek market, containing the study of its internal and external environment, as well as the calculation of its revenues and expenses.
