Abstract
The new pedagogical approaches arising from the utilization of new technologies in educational process in combination with the high interest of students to computer games, created the need to exploit the educational games in the educational process. The educational community has a need to create a new online learning environment that allows teachers to easily and quickly design their own games and activities that can be played by the student. This master thesis covers this need and proposes an authoring tool that enables teachers to create educational board games according to the needs, interests and motives of students. In this paper the trends of the pedagogical approaches for self-assessment of students using the educational game are also analyzed and the paper is completed with the evaluation of the application.
