This dissertation presents the development of a web application, revolving around the searching for and discovery of dining establishments. Its main goal is the creation of an intelligent, modern and interactive platform, through which the end user can search for various categories of dining establishments and receive personalized and curated results, based on his preferences. The application was developed using Spring Java for the backend, React for the frontend and MongoDB for the storage of various app data, while adhering to the REST architecture for designing. Furthermore, the application will be deployed to the cloud, leveraging the scalability and flexibility, cloud environments provide.
