One of the main purposes of education is to create an environment that inspires the students, it enhances their willingness to learn and improves the learning process. This goal can be achieved through developing software specialized in education. Educational programs and games take into consideration the learning pace of the students, the users’ needs and various phycological and pedagogical theories. The aim of the present thesis is to teach the basic concepts for the food technology field for sophomores in high school. By going through the forms of the application, the students read the lesson, answer questions, receive feedback and play educational games. The users’ credentials are being saved in a database in order to be able to return on the app without fear of losing their progress.
