This thesis focuses on the design and development of a prototype strategy game that introduces a novel mechanic to the established genre of tactical grid-based games. The core concept is to endow player-controlled units with autonomous personalities, complete with distinct fears and beliefs, rather than having them act as mere passive executors of commands. Implemented as a 3D application in the Unity engine using C#, the game shifts the strategic focus from simple unit management to personality management. The player is required to observe, interpret, and adapt their plans around the unpredictable behaviors of their own characters, turning each decision into a form of indirect negotiation. The final product demonstrates that integrating psychological parameters into friendly units can dramatically increase strategic depth, offering a dynamic and narratively rich experience.
