This thesis presents a comprehensive business plan for the establishment and growth of an industrial system automation company, named Robot Systems, operating in collaboration within an international Automation Group. The primary objective is to analyse the strategic, technological, and organizational aspects required for successful market penetration and sustainable development in selected regions, including Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Poland, and Dubai.
The methodology combines qualitative and quantitative approaches, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and internal resource assessment. Special emphasis is placed on leveraging shared resources with Automation Group, optimizing human capital through strategic hiring and training, and aligning engineering capabilities with client-specific project demands. The business model is designed to be scalable and adaptable, with a focus on project-based operations and regional customization.
Key findings indicate that the integration of local Business Development Managers (BDMs) and gradual expansion of sales teams significantly enhances lead generation and project acquisition. Furthermore, the organizational structure and overhead management strategies proposed ensure operational efficiency and financial viability. The thesis concludes that Robot Systems has strong potential for growth in the industrial automation sector, provided that strategic partnerships and internal capacities are effectively managed.
