This thesis will attempt to design, implement, and evaluate a structured and integrated e-course in the field of humanities, focused on the development of argumentative discourse and based on Toulmin's pedagogical model, aimed at high school students. The teaching approach will be based on the principles of problem-based learning (PjBL), collaborative learning, and social constructivism. At the same time, the entire process will be supported by digital media and tools, as well as artificial intelligence, serving as a guidance and feedback assistant. The research follows the DBR method focusing on the design, the pilot implementation of the e-course, and the final evaluation of the project using both qualitative and quantitative data. Regarding the aforementioned evaluation, it will be achieved through a Toulmin rubric and a Likert questionnaire, to ascertain the progress in the students' argumentation skills. However, the potential findings will demonstrate that the integration of the Toulmin pedagogical model in a digital environment with simultaneous AI feedback can collectively play a significant role in improving the quality of discourse, correct argumentation, constructive collaboration, and active student engagement. Finally, this specific work can contribute bibliographically to digital teaching of argumentation, as it proposes a comprehensive pedagogical and digital model that can be applied in language courses with various subject matters, while also adding an additional dimension by incorporating AI.
