This dissertation presents the development of a digital revision course on the non-literary text in the subject of Modern Greek Language for third-year Vocational upper secondary school (Europass, n.d.) (EPAL) students. The initiative was driven by the lack of digital lessons designed specifically for vocational education, aiming to bridge this gap with a targeted teaching proposal.
The course was developed based on microlearning and digital learning principles, with emphasis on aligning learning objectives with the national curriculum framework. It was implemented on the Google Classroom platform and structured into an introduction, four micro-units, and a final assessment. The learning activities were designed to support the intended outcomes, foster active engagement, and encourage both guided and independent learning through self-assessment.
The dissertation contributes an innovative and pedagogically grounded digital learning framework that responds to the learning needs of Vocational Lyceum (EPAL) students, promotes equitable access to knowledge, and provides a sustainable model for enhancing the teaching of Modern Greek Language in vocational education.
