Digital Forensics has traditionally relied on the acquisition of physical device copies (disk images)
as the primary means of evidence analysis. However, this approach proves inadequate in cloud
environments, where direct access to underlying infrastructures is restricted. These limitations
introduce significant challenges, particularly regarding the preservation of privacy in multi-tenant
settings where multiple users coexist within the same environment. To address these challenges,
this thesis explores the use of Homomorphic Encryption as an innovative approach to enabling
evidence analysis in cloud forensics, while ensuring data confidentiality and user privacy.
