This abstract focuses on the development of an atmospheric, narrative-driven video game that combines exploration, puzzle-solving, and storytelling through environmental elements. The player begins their journey by waking up in an old house, with no memories of their family’s past. Soon, they discover an old camera with a unique ability: it can reveal memories of the past that remain invisible to the naked eye. As the story unfolds, the player is mysteriously transported to the ruins of the Temple of Necromancy in the Acheron Springs, an ancient site that, according to Greek mythology, served as a gateway for communicating with the souls of the dead. The game was developed using the Unity engine, with programming in C#. A key innovative feature is the memory-collection system through the camera, allowing players to explore the past and influence the course of the story. Through this project, valuable skills in game design and development were acquired, along with a deeper understanding of modern techniques for creating immersive narrative experiences.
