Project management ; Hybrid project managementAbstract
This study focuses on hybrid project management methods, which combine elements from traditional and agile methodologies to address modern requirements and challenges in project management. Traditional methods, such as the Waterfall model, offer stability and predictability but often struggle to adapt to changes during a project’s lifecycle. On the other hand, agile methods provide greater flexibility and collaboration but may face challenges in projects with well-defined requirements.
Adopting hybrid models, like Water-Scrum-Fall, allows project managers to leverage the advantages of both approaches, enabling adaptable management according to each project's needs. The study presents the project life cycles in detail, as well as the main advantages and disadvantages of each method. Additionally, a comparative evaluation of project management tools, such as Asana, Jira, and Trello, is provided, demonstrating their support for implementing hybrid approaches.
The study results indicate that hybrid methods offer an effective solution for managing complex and evolving projects, enhancing efficiency, adaptability, and stakeholder satisfaction. The research concludes with recommendations for further exploration and improvement of hybrid project management methodologies, meeting the growing needs of contemporary business environments.
