This study explored the integration of digital tools, such as Canva and ChatGPT, into the learning process within a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) framework, focusing on students aged 11, including those with attention deficit and learning difficulties. The findings showed significant improvements in digital skills, collaboration, autonomous learning, and students' overall attitudes toward learning. Canva proved particularly effective in enhancing students' creativity and their ability to express ideas visually, while ChatGPT provided valuable support for autonomous learning by offering immediate feedback and guidance.
The study also highlighted the positive impact of these tools on collaboration among students. Through group work, students exchanged ideas more effectively and contributed equally to project completion, developing essential social and interpersonal skills. However, the research had limitations, such as the small sample size and the short duration of the intervention, which limits the generalizability of the findings. Future studies should include larger and more diverse samples and extend the intervention duration to confirm these results.
Despite these limitations, the research highlights the potential of digital tools like Canva and ChatGPT to significantly enhance the learning experience by promoting critical skills such as digital literacy, collaboration, and autonomous learning. Further research should examine the long-term impact of these tools, their effectiveness in various educational settings, and their adaptability to different types of learning difficulties. Overall, the research provides strong evidence that integrating digital tools into education can improve the quality of the learning process and support students in developing essential 21st-century skills.
