Abstract

The current thesis aims at the development of a web application for the exploration of dining venues, like restaurants, bars, bakeries, patisseries, coffee shops etc, in Athens. The app will give the user the ability to search through these dinning venues regarding their personal preferences and location and rate these venues. The app will support 3 more roles those of, administrator, business owner and menu editor. Each role will have its own functionalities and will not be able to perform functionalities in which they don’t have the appropriate rights. The app was built on .NET 8, Vue.js, SQL Server and Firebase. Additionally, a Web API was utilized for the backend, following Microsoft’s standards.
