As digital skills become increasingly important in modern society, technology has found its way into various forms of education. From K-12 schooling to pre-school education, technology has become a valuable tool, especially in nursery schools. The goal of this literature review is to answer three important questions. First, which technologies are used in creative occupational activities and daily life at daycare centers? Second, which developmental areas are being supported by technology-enhanced activities? Lastly, how does technology impact young learners, adults, and educators? After analyzing 36 studies using the PRISMA protocol, it was found that the studies were predominantly qualitative and relied on data collection tools like questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Technology-enhanced activities were primarily related to cognitive development, and various digital tools were utilized. The literature review can serve as a source of inspiration for educators and policymakers to delve deeper into the fields of creative activities for children that foster emotional growth, with a particular emphasis on self-confidence. Furthermore, there is a pressing need for fresh research on digital communication between educators, as well as the integration of technology as a tool for training educators on safety matters in nursery school environments.
