This post graduate thesis aims to design, develop and present a web application, which
satisfies the medical needs of the user. The Clinic System is an application which is used
for direct interaction between a doctor and a patient of a clinic or hospital. It is essentially
a web-based information system where registered users, after creating a profile, will be
able to make remote appointments for a clinic of their choice, monitor their medical
history, access health and wellness micro-applications and keep up to date with a variety
of medical news and issues.
The app also provides the ability to extract test results and diagnoses from the
supervising doctor and maintain a medical record of the patient.
Finally, this application includes an administration system, through which, the
administrators have the possibility to view and edit all the necessary fields in case of
inability of users regardless of their role.
