The conditions of the modern working environment require people to be constantly engaged in
their work, both to carry out formal tasks and to prepare for them. Intensive and constant
engagement with work has a proven impact on people's emotional and psychological state. For
people to be productive, a number of conditions must be met that increase their sense of job
satisfaction.
Job satisfaction has at times been associated both with factors of the job itself, either intrinsic or
extrinsic, and with dimensions of job performance, namely behavioral performance and task
performance. In the present study, we seek to empirically investigate how these factors influence
the formation of job satisfaction. The empirical investigation is based on an appropriately
structured questionnaire.
The statistical analysis of the questionnaire responses showed a strong influence of certain factors
of the job itself, while it rendered the influence of job performance, decision participation and
other qualitative characteristics as to the formation of job satisfaction feeling impotent. Based on
these findings, a statistically significant relationship was developed to directly determine the
satisfaction depending on the workplace conditions
