Human resources management can play an important role in teachers' performance. Effective HR management practices can help to attract, retain, and develop high-quality teachers, which can in turn contribute to improved teaching and learning outcomes.
The relationship between human resources management and teacher performance is also applicable in private education. In fact, effective HR management practices can be even more important in private schools, where competition for high-quality teachers can be intense and the financial resources available for compensation and benefits may be more limited compared to public schools.
Some of the HR management practices that can impact teacher performance such as recruitment and selection processes, opportunities for professional development, performance evaluation and feedback, as long as compensation system and benefits, have been studied in using a convenience sample of 104 teachers in private education institutes. Analysis was performed using SPSS.
Overall, effective HR management practices can help to create a supportive work environment for teachers, increasing their satisfaction, and contribute to improved teaching and learning outcomes. By investing in their teachers, schools can help ensure that their students receive a high-quality education.
