The following paper analyzes the above concepts in detail and, in combination with a statistical analysis, offers useful conclusions. The aim of the research is to find out the role played by teachers and especially the role of director-leader in shaping a positive school climate in the primary education units. In order to fulfill its objective, the survey uses a quantitative methodology. The sample of people who participated in it is 120 people. The research focuses mainly on the perceptions of primary school teachers and managers in the schools of the Municipality of Moschatou-Tavrou, so the respondents' answers are mainly aimed at elucidating the views of the teachers working in this area on the development of a positive climate in primary education, and therefore, research aims are to find the most important factors contributing to this positive climate. Some of the findings of the survey have shown that positive climate contributes to schools’ effective operation, affects pupils' performance in a positive way, and teachers and directors, generally, try to achieve a positive school climate. Teachers also consider that the education provided at the school is important in helping develop pupils' abilities, such as self-motivation, problem-solving ability, critical thinking development, and modeling of examples. Finally, all participants showed a particular appreciation of the sense and the climate of support, the good and valid understanding among teachers and principals, cooperation, and two-way communication.
