The outbreak of the ongoing pandemic had significant influence in various sectors, including the educational process. Considering the restrictions imposed worldwide, the educational process has shifted towards technologically supported learning to ensure that both learning and teaching would continue seamlessly. However, in the transition to technology-supported learning, a variety of challenges have arisen, which have not been sufficiently studied until present. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to evaluate technology-supported learning amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, and specifically to investigate the learning process after the outbreak of the pandemic. The research focuses on Greek students to study the challenges they faced, the digital literacy of the participants, their digital skills, attitudes and beliefs regarding technology-supported learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Firstly, in the theoretical part, the findings of the literature review are presented, which was carried out on reliable bases and in recent empirical studies, while, secondly, in the empirical part, the results of the analysis of the primary data are presented. The research, which was carried out on a sample of 75 students, contributes to the international literature as it is the first study to examine the opinions of Greek students regarding technology-supported learning in the COVID-19 era. The paper highlights factors that can influence the psychological well-being and learning engagement of the participants and concludes with suggestions for further investigation of the issue.
