Abstract
Pharmaceutical industry is considered as the industry with the most rapidly growing of 21st centrury. This growth is not taken into consideration only research and development of new products and production innovations regarding new technologies, but the storage and distribution, in accordance with the service level provided are considered as a high priority.
This study has as a scope to describe in details the requirements of Good Distribution Practices (GDPs) of pharmaceutical products, as well as the service level agreement (SLA) between organisations. Apart of theoretical approach of this topic, in which emphasis is given in order the requirements to be absolute understandable, a detail guide will be given about the documentation needed for each requirement to be justified. Through this approach an attempt is made to bridge the gap between legislation requirements and performace of them by an orgazisation.
As mentioned before, the rapidly development of pharmaceutical industry and the innovation are taken place require the easily adaptation of the organisations in order to achive to be competitive. Although the organisations are not familiar with the integration of the requirements to their every day actios, new topica as artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of things, Industry 4.0 and Data integrity are raised. Organisation should find the way to harmonize the already existing legislative requirments with the new innovations and market challenges.
