Abstract

For the preparation of the master's thesis, a tourist guide was created regarding the Municipality of Karpenisi where proposals for accommodation in the city of Karpenisi and its surroundings, dining, activities as well as places of culture and entertainment are presented. To create the guide, the Microsoft application, Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Community and the C# and Python languages were used. Microsoft Access was used to store and register user data. Finally, with the use of a questionnaire, the user is given the opportunity to arrange his holiday program according to his particular preferences and based on his financial capabilities, drawing information from the websites of the Municipality of Karpenisi and Booking.gr.
